elementor-size-default\">Charles \"Charlie\" Elliot Rothman was a wonderful young man, truly full of love for life and for his family. He greeted every day with total enthusiasm. He was the beloved son of Elaine Rinfrette, PhD and Ilene Rothman, MD and the beloved brother of Daniel. <\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c5ffa0e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c5ffa0e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Elaine and Ilene wrote<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-150d765 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"150d765\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u201cCharlie dealt with autism and was nonverbal, but he did not let that stop him. He had the sweetest temperament you could imagine. Charlie enjoyed many things in life like horseback riding, adaptive skiing, car trips, doing new things, and fast amusement park rides, Charlie was a lover of music and movies (and movie popcorn!). His all-time favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz. He taught us many lessons about what is important in life: loving family, enjoying the small things, appreciating beauty around us that we otherwise took for granted, truly cherishing a hug. Everyone who knew Charlie commented on his big, beautiful smile that was almost always on his face. Sadly, Charlie died suddenly at the age of 22. He took our hearts with him, but the gifts he gave us continue to influence our every moment. \n\nAs part of our way to keep Charlie's memory alive, we established the Charlie Grant along with the wonderful people at Autism on the Seas Foundation. Caroline radiated positivity in everything she did. During her years teaching, she went above and beyond to make sure her students had everything they needed, from clothes, to school supplies, and extra love and tender loving care.\n\nCaroline loved traveling and passed this love down to her children. Caroline loved learning and exploring new places, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family. As a disabled mom raising a son on the spectrum alone, I had never been able to take my son far from home. Receiving financial assistance for a staffed cruise removes both financial and physical barriers for us.
