With Autism on the Seas Foundation
Dream Comes True
Our "Dreams Come True" program helps families in extreme hardship or suffering personal tragedy with a grant to fully cover the cost of an assisted vacation experience. We seek donations from the public, corporations and private foundations to fund this program. We run fundraisers through the year, including our signature Sweepstakes with awesome prizes. We accept grant applications from families in the United States and Canada that have an immediate family member with a disability. Our Grants committee reviews all applications and our Operations Team works with families approved to build their vacation with them. Visit our Dreams Come True page for more details.
Target: $10,000

Go Cruise Me
Our "GoCruiseMe" platform allows parents to receive contribution from friends and family members to help save up for a staff-assisted vacation, using our secure payment process. Once the campaign has been created, family, friends, coworkers, and businesses can make contributions towards the family's vacation. A GoCruiseMe Campaign can be started without having a vacation booked or deposited. The Foundation charts a fee to use the platform which covers transaction charges and administration costs. Visit the GoCruiseMe page for more details.

Support Families With Autism
Our Relationship with Autism on the Seas
The Foundation has a working relationship with Autism on the Seas (AotS) a state of Connecticut Limited Liability Company. AotS has been providing staff-assisted vacations for children with developmental disabilities (primarily autism) since 2007 and assists selected cruise lines and vacation resorts in providing their daycare program to children with exceptional care needs relating to their disabilities. AotS is recognized within the vacation industry as the leading (and in many cases only) provider of these specialized services to families. The strength of their program is exemplified by the families who return year after year to vacation with AotS. AotS provides travel-related special needs accommodations and professional staffing support to families on a fee-paying basis. The Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of grants to help families in extreme hardship or suffering personal tragedy access this life changing experience.
"I cannot thank the Foundation and the sponsors & donors enough for this financial assistance! As the single parent of a 5-year-old with special needs, vacations had become nonexistent for us. He and I are both beyond excited to embark on this new experience! This mama is also looking forward to some much-needed relaxation time."
I have been wanting to take my son on some form of vacation that we both can in enjoy and be ourselves, and AotS popped up on my Google search. I was so excited and grateful for this grant! Thank you so much for allowing me and my son to be able to enjoy a vacation were we can with others with our same life struggles.
We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation for your generous financial support. Your generosity serves as a beacon of hope for those in need, and we are committed to sharing these stories with others who aspire to provide similar opportunities. Your support not only aids individuals and families but also motivates and encourages others to contribute to the betterment of society.
We are extremely thankful and grateful for this grant and the opportunity to even plan a trip stress-free let alone actually get to go on a cruise with all of us. Having two children with special needs, yet very different needs is challenging and this opportunity is so rewarding and gives us so much hope for the future of our vacations! Thank you.
Thank you so much for the grant you have generously awarded us with. As a disabled mom raising a son on the spectrum alone, I had not ever been able to take my son far from home. Receiving financial assistance for a trip with Autism on the Seas on a staffed cruise removes both financial and physical barriers for us. I don’t have the words to describe how excited my son and I both are to have this opportunity. Thank you so much.
I am so grateful for your donation! My mother passed late this summer and my children have been struggling with handling their grief. This will give them something to look forward to. Sometimes you need that to keep you moving forward. My mother had a cruise booked and was unable to go because she was diagnosed with brain cancer. This will be a fitting tribute to her love for cruising and I thank you for helping to make that possible.
